...This quote represents the second part of my tapestry theme. The significance behind the quote states that no two people think alike. There are many factors that influence our thought process; therefore, how we respond to certain matters depends on how our minds think. Each person experiences life in a different light; no two lives can be expected to be the same. Thus, our thought processes must be unique as they reflect our development throughout life and our individual experiences. We all have different perceptions that affect our view on life which may altar our judgment towards someone or something, which is the message implied by this quote. However, sometimes the perceptions we have created can cause controversy and conflicts between people because we may assume they see the world the same way as we do. Furthermore, each and every individual will have a different outlook on life which may cause our judgments to lead to negative actions.
Penelope Fitzgerald was a novelist and biographer who died at the age of 83. She was known to have one of the most "elegant voices" in contemporary British fiction. She was born and raised in Somerville, Oxford, where she began taking English Literature just before Britain declared war on Germany. Many of Fitzgerald's novels talked about the war, such as Human Voices, an account of the Second World War. Fitzgerald was one of the most widely admired writers in the English language...
