Identify

In my opinion, three qualities that I expect from a good book is that the book should be able to flow from one scene to another, making each scene entertaining using suspense, action, interesting characters, and short and precise writing. Another important quality that the book must have is it must relate to the reader. This can be accomplished by directing it towards a certain audience or by making the story have believable charactersAlthough sometimes good stories don’t always have to relate to the reader, they have small but important elements that do. Another quality that a good book must have is it should have a good plot keeping the reader hooked and giving them an unforeseen ending. All these qualities are what make a book good and enjoyable to read.

The book, The Hunger Games, which I have currently read, includes all three of the qualities that I think a good book should have. The book is able to flow because it is very suspenseful and each chapter brings new and exciting problems which you are able to follow throughout the book. I also am able to relate to the book because the story talks about kids that are of my age group desperately surviving to live. The main character also has a personality that is similar to mine; kind at heart, but is very brave, independent and able to overcome hardships. The Hunger Games also has a very great ending, unexpected yet leaving the reader thinking.
